Paper Cut-outs Chain Tutorial

So I originally saw this great idea on Mrs. Priss

Adorable! I knew I had to give it a go.

Here's mine:

Eh. Mrs. Priss's looks totally cuter with the little table with all it's decorations. But, at least mine made my college dorm wall a little prettier :)

Here's how to make it!

Supplies
-Fun colored paper
-Hot glue
-Paper punches
-Ribbon
-Scissors
-Pencil

Steps:

Step 1: Cut out of bunch of different shapes out of different patterns of paper

Step 2: Attach the paper shapes to your ribbon by hot gluing two plain sides together

Do that over and over again until you get this!

Step 3: Hang your paper chain where you like it.  I thought it looked a little ugly with the ends exposed like that on my wall so I added another step...

Step 4: Cut out two bows on another cute patten of paper, and attach them over the ends of your paper chain.

Better!

And that's all there is to it!!

First thing I added to my dorm wall!

Little more decorated now.
Recognize those cute little flower canvases? Tutorial here :)

I'm linking this project up to all of these great link parties!

  2. Thank you, Rebecca, for your kind comment on my necklace over on jneelovestea. I love your blog, the fact that you play the harp (that's such a cool instrument), and the fact that you are a young person who crafts. I am teaching my grand daughters to craft, so they will keep our family crafting tradition going. Good luck with your new blog, I am going to become a follower to help you out.

    Happy crafting,
    Jane
