Cafeteria Creativity: Grapefruit juice. Like, the real stuff.

Cafeteria Creativity!
Eating in the same college cafeteria every day for every meal gets a little old after awhile so i'm blogging about using the basic ingredients that the cafeteria provides and making something different with them to help out my college friends.

Todays food item is Grapefruit Juice!

It's really simple, but fun to do.

Ingredients:
-Grapefruit
-Knife
-Straw

Steps:

Step 1: Roll the grapefruit around on the table for awhile.  Apply hard pressure.  Gotta get the juices going!!

Step 2: After adequate rolling, split a small hole in the grapefruit with a knife.

Step 3: Stick a straw in the opening.

Step 4: Start sucking!!! Haha. Sometimes takes a minute to get going.  Squeezing the grapefruit helps.  You can get a lot of juice out of these guys! Doesn't get fresher than that.  No extra sugar or additives or anything.

And it's just really fun to do, haha.  Enjoy!!

  3. This looks so cute! I love grapefruit but I'm the only one at my house who does. I might do this and make my daughter hold it just so we can take a picture :)
