Well folks, I'm back from a lovely honeymoon in Jamaica and am a married woman!!
Thank you all so much for your well wishes while I was gone and to everyone who guest posted while I was away.
Now, I know you all want to see wedding pictures but of course I still have to wait to get the digital copies from my photographer. As soon as I get them I will share though. The day was truly wonderful - everything went according to plan and we had a great time :)
So, as we wait for wedding pictures I figured I'd share a few from JAMAICA from our honeymoon!!!
This was the view from our balcony in the room: gorgeous!!!
Our first breakfast in Jamaica complete with a Mimosa and Jamaican coffee -- yummmm!
We spent lots of time by the beach! I had never been to an island before so I LOVED seeing all the clear water :)
My HUSBAND. Had to practice saying that all week.
Climbed up the Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios!
On the boat back from the falls I mayyyy have had a little too much rum and coke on an empty stomach.
At least I enjoyed dancing with the Jamaican's and entertaining my whole bus on the way home. Please note: that pole is for stability (the boat was very rocky!!) nothing else. Hah!
Another day we went exploring in the town of Ocho Rios. We paid a local $10 and a Red Stripe and he showed us all around - away from all the touristy areas! We visited a local farmers market.
Check out the Jamaican creepin the back of this photo haha!
Overall it was a great time! But we were still excited to come home to our own house that we settled on three days before the wedding (talk about hectic!) But everything worked out great and we are happily newly weds now :)
Sorry if I have not returned some emails yet or an out-of-the-loop in blog land, I'm not going to even try to catch up on everything I missed.
