I'm trying to get my Amazon wish-list ready for Christmas (because that's how my family buys gifts for each other!!!) And I realized that my whole list right now is basically books I want to read!! Whoops! Book nerd in me :) I thought I'd share what is on my to-read list in case you were looking for anything good to read too!!

#1- The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling. I mean come on, Harry Potter author goes adult fiction??? You know I want to be all over this book.

3. Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. Sounds like a pretty dark thriller (if you couldn't tell by the name)...but I read Gone Girl: A Novel
by Gillian Flynn and really liked it so I'm interest to read more from her.
and got hooked on the little series. It's a fast and quick read, but fun and good for reading after something super serious!!!
6. Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger. The Time Traveler's Wife
was one of my most favorite books EVER so I'm curious to read something else by the same author.

in my parents basement. I love the mystery in them! The Rackateer is ranking pretty high right now on Amazon so I'm sure its just as good as his others.
So that's what's on my list for right now! Anyone read any of them before? Worth buying?

ReplyDeleteThe Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favorite books too! Her Fearful Symmetry is good but not as good. It's got kind of a cooky premise like The Time Traveler's Wife but she manages to make it seem plausible.
ReplyDeleteI've read the 1st two Delirium books, and they aren't bad. Nothing really "new and exciting" but still fun to read. I read a lot of young adult fiction, so the whole love triangle "Twilight drama" is starting to get old for me. Divergent is on my list though. I've heard lots of good things about that series!
ReplyDeleteI loved divergent and insurgent! Happy to find out about delirium, I live stuff like that! Also I have heard so much buzz about a casual vacancy but what is it about?
ReplyDeleteI've read 'Her Fearful Symmetry' but found a lot of it fairly predictable, especially the ending!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything that's been said about Her Fearful Symmetry... My book club read it because we all loved The Time Traveler's Wife but it is NOWHERE near the same calibre. I've never heard of the Meg Cabot series, those sound fun!
ReplyDeleteDelirium is one of the best books I've ever read. If you liked Divergent you will absolutely love these books! I will warn you, you'll want to get the second too so you can don't have to wait to read it.
