No Cheese Week

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has one food that they just LOVE.
You eat it at everything meal, you grab it for a snack, it makes your belly rumble when you look at delisch looking pics of in on pinterest.

For me, my dear friends, that food is cheese.

You see, from age 7-14 I have a milk allergy. For 7 years of my life, I could not eat cheese.
That was a very dark time for me. All that fake cheese junk ain't got nothing on some tried and true sliced white american fresh cute from the deli.Ooooh momma I could eat that stuff all day.

After I grew out of my milk allergy (you go immune system), the thing I started eating ALL THE TIME was cheese. Cheese slices, cheese strings, mac and cheese, cheesy soups, oooh boy. Can't get enough of that stuff.  Favorite food? Mac and cheese. Thing I ask for on my birthday dinner? No, not steak or anything fancy. Just some plain old shells and cheese would be swell for me. I think cafeteria ladies who work in the sandwich line know me as the "cheese girl" now or something, cause I'm the only one who goes through the sandwich line to just get cheese. Bread and ham? Pffh. So inferior.

ANYWAY. Why am I telling you all about my slightly-obsessive relationship with cheese?

Because I'm going on a NO CHEESE WEEK.

SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!

You heard me right. I've just been feeling some extra chub chubs around the tub tub these days, and thought  I should try cutting cheese out of my diet for a week and seeing the effect it had. So, today marks day one. Weighed myself this morning, and have successfully gone TWO MEALS so far with no cheese. Only 19 more to go.

I appreciate your support on this journey into uncharted territory.

It's going to be a long week my friends.
