DIY Will you be my Bridesmaid Cards

I recently asked all of some of my best gal pals to be in my wedding! I wanted to ask them formally, but in a cute way...here's what I did!

I used my Silhouette to cut out a whole bunch of little purple dresses (the color that my bridesmaid dresses will be! Remember this post?)

Then I personalized one dress for each girl who I wanted to ask.

I put another dress over top and tied them together with a pink bow, another one of my wedding accent colors.

I was going to leave them like that, but then I decided, hey, I'm a jewelry-making gal, I should jazz these up a little more! So I punched a hole on either side of the neckline...

and tied a piece of thread to one end.

I strung on some beads, and voila! Now my little invites were all set to go.

So cute!! I'm actually having six bridesmaids, I just made the other two invites earlier & didn't photo them.

I plopped them in an envelope and they were on their way!!

Here's my friend Morgan from Blurts from a Brunette with her invite!!

The necklace on hers broke in the mail :(  She still said yes though haha. Yay!

Now to go dress shopping so the real purple dresses!!

I'll be linking this up to all the parties in my header as well as Today's Creative Blog
