My dog has chewed through 7 pairs of my panties

My dog has chewed through 7 pairs of my panties

My dog has chewed through 6 empty tampon dispensers.

My dog has chewed through 5 single flip flops (none from a matching set of course)

My dog has chewed through 4 high heels

My dog has chewed through 3 slippers

My dog has chewed through two tubes of chapstick

My dog has chewed through one pack of birth control.

My dog has chewed through 1 iphone, 1 computer charger, 2 cell phone chargers, 5 bobby pins, 3 clothes pins, 1 CD, 4 pieces of coal, 1 old banana peel, 3 coasters, 7 rocks, and

every single napkin, tissue, or paper towel that has EVER been placed on a tray table, coffee table, kitchen counter edge, or ANYWHERE REMOTELY NEAR WHERE THE DOG CAN REACH HIS HEAD.

Oh, and he's drank out of the toilet about 4 times now too.  Kisses anyone?

If he wasn't so cute, I don't know what I'd do.

Note: no dogs have been harmed in the writing of this blog post.

  3. OMG! Puppies can be sooo trying. But he is darling! My lab chewed the baseboard/trim off the staircase one night when I assumed she was sleeping! Hang in there! And wear those mismatched flip flops...you might start a new fashion craze!

  5. ahhh he's such a trouble maker - but SO CUTE!! What a little stinker - if they weren't so cute they totally wouldn't get away with the things they get away with ;)

  7. It takes great endurance to get thru this phase, good luck. I must say however, that she is beyond cute and clearly knows it. We have a lab and they are notorious for chewing so I feel your pain. My children always state how Interesting it is that the dogs get away with everything and they couldn't.

  8. Haha sounds like my labradoodle when he was a puppy. He was partial to tv remotes :) I highly recommend getting a Nylabone for powerful chewers. It may not completely deter him from eating all your stuff but it will help!

  9. hahaha so cute :) I love the way you described this 'mini' destruction - it's really funny xD My dog eats doors, when we leave her and carpets, on any occasion really - with all that tasty food that they get - why would you eat a carpet? xD Little trouble makers!

  10. Well Rebecca, that only means that you are 100% accepted as his/her new doggie momma!!! LOL! I too have a new puppy (much smaller than yours but JUST as distructive!) and I COMPLETELY know your "pain"!!! Just be thankful that you are going thru this now at a young age, rather than at almost 50 with health issues on top of it!!! You're also right that the only thing that saves them is their sweet little faces!!! LOL! Good luck!!!

  11. I have a black haired version of your dog. And I am now grateful that he limits his appetite to paper products, stuffed animals, and of course, feminine hygiene products. Thanks for sharing!
