If you didn't catch my post from yesterday, I received a jewelry making kit from Prima Beads to craft with! Yesterday I showed you the pieces I made from their designs, but today I wanted to show you what I made with some of the leftover beads!
Isn't it gorgeous? I'm loving this pearl necklace!
Here's how to make your own:
Cut a piece of chunky chain and attach two jump rings to the ends
Put two pearl beads on two different eye pins and create a simple loop at the other end of the wire
Use needle nose pliers to attach the loop to the jump rings
Attach a strand of beading wire onto the other side of one of the links using a crimp bead. (My crimps were really tiny so I used two for extra stability)
String a bunch of various size pearl beads onto head pins and create a simple loop with the other end of the wire.
I also strung some metal spacer beads from my own stash onto the head pin with the smaller white pearls for a little variety
String the charms onto the beading wire. I alternated every two or three charms to a stung bead to help with length.
Use a crimp bead to attach the beading wire to the link on the other side of the chain
Use wire cutters to cut a link in the back middle of the chain. Use jump rings to attach a clasp (I used a couple to add to the length but one per side should be fine)
Tada! All done!
Everything but the metal spacer beads came from the
Jewelry Class In A Box - Peach And Pink Pearls Kit. It was fun to stretch my creativity to use the rest of the beads on hand to make something of my own taste.
Classy, but elegant and stylish. Loving this new necklace! I will most likely be listing in my etsy shop, let me know if you want dibs :)

I love this look! You a great job. I have a similar necklace that I got for a steal at Target (of all places) & wear all this time, it's actually in my blog header picture. Not sure if I'd have the patience to make one though!! xo caroline
