What I Wore Wednesday: LBD And Tights

Time for another WIWW look: here's what I'm sporting today!

And I finally got my hair cut  huzzah! Of course my bangs are doing funky things in all of these pictures though because it was quite windy taking these pics!!

Dress: Thrifted (think it's old from Target though) Tights: Boutique in France. Shoes: Payless

I don't normally have very much luck thrifting...ok I take that back. It's not my favorite activity (GASP I KNOW) but while looking for my Halloween costume I found this little number for 6 bucks and couldn't pass it up! I love the ruffle down the front and it's super comfy.

I paired it with some patterned tights I bought while studying abroad in France. Question: these don't look sleazy, do they? I was semi-afraid they looked too much like fishnets. Which was not the look I has going for. I don't think they will live for much longer though anyway. The problem with holey tights is that then tend to get more holes. Like the huge one currently growing in the crotch of these. And these were not meant to be crotchless...

ANYWAY. I shall enjoy them while they last. Happy Wednesday everyone!

  1. Those tights are FUN. I love the pattern, and since the rest of the outfit is modest and relatively unadorned they add just the right amount of wow!

  2. What a great find! I lucked out with my outfit I linked up as well and found the skirt while thrifting. I love patterned tights and these add such nice pattern and texture.

  3. Definitely not sleazy! I feel the same way when I put mine on, but as long as everything else is covered up nicely, they just add a whole lot of cute (:
